Images must be in .JPG format (maximum quality) and with maximum dimensions 1024 pixels wide x 768 pixels high. Note that if a square format is used, the maximum size will therefore be 768 x 768 pixels.

This is important because the competition software automatically recognises title and author by means of the capital letters and the spaces either side of the word 'by'.
Lower Case Titles are in fact acceptable ; they are apparently excluded because eg "North by NorthWest by Jim Conboy" would split at the first occurence of " by " and end up with the title "North", author "NorthWest by Jim Conboy". This uncommon occurence can easily be fixed with a text editor.
Missing out " by " in the title string remains a capital offence, since it prevents the entry list being created, & I have to go back & rename the offending files...
Entries may be submitted as Email attachments, and must reach the competition organiser by midnight on the Friday of the week preceding the competition. Note that any Email containing a computer virus will be rejected by the Email system. Click here for a new Email , then attach the image files. Please append the date of the competition to the subject line. Request a delivery receipt for confirmation that your Email has been received.
Entries received by 6pm on the Sunday preceding the competition will be entered. Entries received later than that may or not be entered, depending on whether Im in Monday evening. You may request a 'delivery receipt' when Emailing entries, if you want to be sure I have got them. Ill post a list of entries before the competition, usually.
